I am writing to you to request your support for SB0586 entitled Public Safety – Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing for Fuel Gas Piping Systems – Requirements and Prohibitions. This bill will not only protect firefighters and first responders but all citizens of the State of Maryland. SB586 will require all CSST sold and used in Maryland to meet adequate safety standards. Firefighters and first responders risk their lives daily to protect the citizens of Maryland. We should do everything in our power to help protect them which is why SB0586 must become law.
