Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST)

CSST has been used widely in the United States for the past 25 years as a cheap easy way to install gas (propane/natural) supply lines in residential homes and commercial buildings. There are several types of CSST, as well as numerous manufactures.

Below you will find links to a number of studies, reports, and organizations which will provided a great deal of insight into the variations of CSST and the potential risks.

We implore you to do your own research and make educated decisions.  As with anything on the internet be sure you know who is publishing the information and what their credentials are. Many of the CSST manufacturers provide independent study information that is without validation by any accredited organization.
